BIOGRAPHY

Steven Altmann is the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Polymateria, a company based out of Imperial College London that has developed Biotransformation technology allowing polyolefin plastics to fully biodegrade in the open terrestrial environment while remaining compatible with recycling systems at scale. He leads global policymaker engagement, communications, and marketing activities.

Steven brings extensive experience growing markets for environmentally sustainable products. He previously headed public policy and business development at Tesla in the UK and Ireland, and ran international policy campaigns on energy, climate change, and Brexit for the Confederation of British Industry.
